I've been messing around with dual-wielding today, and I like the vulgar militia saw much more than the katanas. I can never get the full katana combo off because they don't do enough poise damage, so I get slapped in the face mid-combo. With the militia saws, 2-3 hits breaks poise and I can keep piling hits on. They also do even more bleed.
