All of the aftermarket CZ Shadow 2 Optic Mounting packages I’ve seen from companies like CZ Custom, Fire4Effect, and Primary Machine also omit the rear sight when milling the slide for an optic. If you’d like backup iron sights the CZ Shadow 2 probably isn’t the best option.Posted December 29, 2021. My guess is it’ll shoot just fine without the slide lightening. Once the weight limit was increased the Shadow 2 OR became available (and allowed) that does not have any slide lightening cuts and it shoots pretty good as is. My guess is the slide lightening cuts alone take off 2-3 oz.
